EC 1.3.2.3 galactonolactone dehydrogenase). Acts on the 1,4-lactones of L-galactonic, D-altronic, L-fuconic, D-arabinic and D-threonic acids. Not identical with EC 1.1.3.8 (cf. EC 1.3.2.3). Formerly EC 1.1.3.24.

Created :EC 1.3.3.12 created 1984 as EC 1.1.3.24, transferred 2006 to EC 1.3.3.12
